Phase 3 of Best Body Bootcamp consisted of week 5 + 6. Since my workouts were a little off during phase 2, I actually repeated a week of phase 2, thus have only completed one week of phase three so far (therefore making my total BBB experience 9 weeks instead of 8). Hey, Tina said to make the schedule work for us!
Anyway, phase 3 is pretty amazing. Workouts A and C are using pyramids and they are the bomb dot com. Don’t want to tell you too much detail since Tina puts so much effort into creating these workouts – you’ll just have to register next time with us! That said, I want to share with you a favorite move from each of the strength training routines!
Favorite Move from Workout A: Step-Ups
Why my favorite? Simple yet completely effective. I didn’t have a bench this high but my legs could still feel my workout the next day!
Favorite Move from Workout B: Squat Toss
Why my favorite? I love medicine balls and this move makes working out fun! I also love this whole video made my Tina!
Favorite Move from Workout C: Dumbbell Tricep Kickbacks
Why my favorite? While these definitely aren’t my favorite while I’m doing them, these make the favorite list because I can always feel it in my triceps the next day – they’re a muscle group I really need to work on. You can do single arm or double arm triceps kickbacks – whichever you prefer!
Overall, I’m loving phase three and am stoked to have these workouts in my workout planner! I hope you enjoyed learning some of my favorite moves – let me know if you try them!
